We are looking for New Graduate Nurses, NPs, RNs, or LPNs to run and maintain our Camp’s Health Center for the summer. We want fun, compassionate people who are interested in gaining hands on experience that will be invaluable to their nursing career!
Nurses love working at camp! As a camp nurse you will be a member of our camp medical team which will include six nurses and one rotating physician. The physicians are camp parents with a variety of specialties. The camp infirmary is a top notch facility, completely renovated in 2016 with the help of two camp doctors and our head nurse. Nurses are responsible for caring for ill or injured campers, sorting and dispensing medication, responding to emergencies, maintaining accurate medical documentation and promoting health maintenance and accident prevention.
Shifts are in 3 hour blocks, giving our nurses plenty of time to study for the Nclex, keep in touch with home, and enjoy all the camp facilities, including pool, fitness center, tennis courts, counselors lounge, and more! Camp is an environment designed to be safe and happy. We want you to have a good time along with the rest of the camp!
Nurses will live and work on site for the summer. Competitive Salary with days off. Room and Board included.
